Oleev, my companion blue tongue skink, is very ill. Yesterday my friend May and I took him up to the UC Davis emergency vet clinic. By the time we'd gotten him there he was almost completely non-responsive and didn't even resist when turned upside down on his back. :-/ The doctor wasn't sure he'd survive the night ( Read more... )

Oh, man. I spent this past weekend listening to basically EVERY live performance of "Nine in the Afternoon" (and "When the Day Met the Night," God, that song will not get out of my head) that I could find, just because, and I turn around and now it's a real song!
